Nah, officially they’re puppets, and don’t exist below the waist. So can’t be gay or straight. (How this explains Miss Piggy and Kermit, I don’t know).
They’re also confirmed friends, because they’re intended to show how even if you’re different from each other, you can still be friends.
I’d like to see the ponified versions of the other Hasbro characters like G.I. Joe, Blythe Baxter from Littlest Pet Shop, Jem & the Holograms, Strawberry Shortcake, BUT NOT THE CARE BEARS!!!
Also, I wonder if they’ll sneak Peter Cullen into an episode of MLP since Optimus Prime is getting the Ponified treatment.
