Really, you’ve never heard of the stereotype that white people can’t dance? It’s a real thing. :)
But it does apply mostly to clubbing, wherein white people tend to just bop really subtly like they’re trying not to get noticed, or go full-on Twiley mode. Other, more formal kinds of dancing, we’re generally very good at. :D

She’s read dozens of books on dancing. It’s what she does when she wants to take a break from her usual studies.
I’m a middle-aged white guy irl, and I can actually dance quite well…but specifically, I am a trained competitive amateur ballroom dancer. Put me in a social disco or a club setting, and I’d likely appear just as uncoordinated as our favourite purplenerdy pony here. :)
