Well, this was something I’ve been planning on doing since last year, so I figured I might as well do it. This is meant to show a family picture of Spike, Rarity, and all their many offspring. One of my favorite headcanons is that dragons can impart a measure of their longevity to their partners through the magical properties of their… bodily fluids. Because of this, Rarity discovers that her aging is slowed down to alicorn levels, and it also causes her to continue growing like an alicorn, though she doesn’t get any of the bonus power. Another effect of this is that while Rarity didn’t want to raise many foals, her longevity allowed her to space them out so that she would only be raising two at a time, at most. Thus, by her 80s and Spike’s mid-70s, they have between the two of them six children from 5 to 55.
The Sparikids from left to right:
Celerity (55) - The eldest daughter who was born without wings, but in her adulthood was granted phoenix wings. She’s a bit brash and focused on her cool image, but will never let anypony down in a pinch.
Hilarity (24) - One of the middle foals, she’s adopted a very unique style. Ever since she was a foal she’s been a bit silly, but she admires her oldest sister’s demeanor and tries to emulate it at times.
Pointdexter (5) - Timid and nearsighted, he is nonetheless surprisingly gifted at magic, having already mastered telekinesis and the message teleport spell. While he attends Magic Kindergarten, he is also tutored by Princess Twilight Sparkle in his free time to prepare him for later apprenticeship.
Clawed (14) - A bit of a troublemaker who likes to get his fingers into everything. He’s also a huge momma’s colt and does his best to make her proud.
Verity (36) - An upstanding young mare who doesn’t much care for fashion and “girly” things. She’s very sarcastic and blunt, but if she’ll always be upfront with everypony.
Fang (45) - The eldest son, he is very quiet and unassuming. He often underestimates himself and tends to be a bit blue. His compassion is unmatched, however, and he works diligently to provide comfort to those less fortunate.

I wouldn’t discount half dragons being as long lived as full dragons in the MLP:FiM universe - and how long-lived that is may or may not be comparable to D&D - but since the nonpony is having her own life artificially lengthened through her union with a dragon, she may well live at least as long as she and Spike are together. According to this headcanon anyway.
in DND a half-dragon can outlive it non-dragon parent for the most part the oldest living ones can be Ancient (1500-1750yrs) before dying
Hard to say. I figure half dragons would probably still be pretty long-lived, so maybe not.
Does that mean Rarity is going to outlive her own children or grandchildren?
It’s almost like you read the description.
I’m still putting my bet on immortality
Money for the spa, taking care of her body, and happiness.
Well, not exactly. I made this particular horde a year ago, the designs of which I posted on my Tumblr at the time, but Pia’s group pic did prompt me to finally put them all together in a finished piece.
