@Tragiclady: Nightmare Moon, Luna, and Tantibus are all already separate. (As the Tantibus is a creation of Luna herself, while Nightmare Moon is what happens when Luna gives in to her negative emotions and lets the Nightmare Forces’ leader into her body.)

Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!
Friendship, Art, and Magic (2017) - Celebrated Derpibooru's five year anniversary with friends.

Its an idea straight out of some fanfiction, but if Luna could manifest Nightmare Moon/Tantibus as a separate pony, get enough hugs from townsfolk, and ask Celestia for forgiveness. She could help resolve this issue in a way that isn’t even close to being subtle.
 
Basically, I’m all for there being more of Luna to hug.
