Actually, I am curious about Luna’s 2nd speech bubble in the 3rd panel.
I had always presumed it was Celestia saying something,
but if the translation is “And we hate ourself for thinking that as well”, then it must be Luna.

I guess the artist just didn’t make it visibly clear who was talking with the bubble placement?
Only a problem for someone who doesn’t know Japanese I guess. :P

It sounded strange to me as well, but the “me” in “myself” in that sentence is the same archaic form that Luna uses elsewhere. Tia uses the standard word. They have quite different “voices” in Japanese as well, similar to what I tried to do with Luna’s translation.

I used the same fonts for this comic by same artist awhile ago…
though I might update this one soon, it’s harder to read and less tidy.
