So I noticed. :P
Keep in mind that continuity is not MLP’s strong point.
Or he just drew it based off the previews…

True enough, but I was just going by her own admissions in the song “Big Brother Best Friend Forever”, where she basically stated that she never had any friends in Canterlot due to her always outright-blanking anypony who tried to talk to her.
…then again, that episode in turn retconned in the fact that she had a) A Big Brother, and B) a favourite foalsitter who was also a Princess. So there’s that. :P
That was never stated, only inferred, apparently incorrectly.
Given the flashback to their school days, they were more acquaintances than anything. They were just the closest things she had to friends aside from her brother and babysitter.
Yeah, I’d say that’s definitely been retconned now.
Anyway, great art as always - I LOVE MYSTICALPHA’S WORKS! =_= Very cute indeed.
