The plot description that I’ve read makes this whole thing sound utterly generic. I’m talking After-School Special time here. So, maybe, not bad, but not very good, either?

there should be a realistic ending for that book: the guy at the end fucks the brains outof that girl, because that would be a real behavior of a teenager, boy or girl.

Even if it has a Pony thing, it sounds like another, ’loser guy in high school who is a loser who manages to get the hot girl because of insert gimmick here’  
I was half a decade out of high school at the time and not so much “loser” as “lunatic”, but I totally got a hot girl because of the gimmick “big fan of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman”.

I must find this and read it!!
