First Doctor image I’ve seen from the episode, and they gave ‘Doctor Whooves’ the scarf from Doctor Who in this scene at least (not watched the episode yet). It was kind of inevitable they were going to play to the fans.
 
I think we’d have been more disappointed if they hadn’t.
