Well, the latest one has Diamond in tears. So maybe it’s a test of the new mech that turned into some emotional spat that reminded her of how AB almost killed her friend? No idea. But the latest one at least implies she isn’t trying to outright kill Apple Bloom. Maybe. At least she didn’t strike out with the drill part. xD
 
But yeah, if you look close to Tiara’s face you see she’s in tears.

It’s interesting that in this pic, Silver Spoon (and possibly Diamond Tiara) is shown as being an ally of the Crusaders’. Judging by Apple Bloom’s torn clothes, it seems to take place after this pic, while Spoon’s injuries suggest that it’s taking place after this one. Even more confusing, the most recent Apple Bloomers pic shows Diamond Tiara (in a mecha with the Diamond Industries logo, no less) in a fight with Apple Bloom. I wonder if atryl has any coherent story in mind or is just drawing things based on the rule of cool? If there is a plot, I’d like to know.

“Darn dress ripped agaihn,” Apple Bloom moans as she fumbles with a sewing needle, tring to mend the fancy garment, the dim light of the mine making it hard to sew.  
“Why did you even ware that down here? Seems impractical,” Scoodaloo retorts, her muzzle turned to a long sheet of coarse parchment, her quill mapping out the abandonned tunnels.  
“Well how in tarnation was I suposed to know the passage would collapse, I’m not a fortune teller you know.” The farm mare says, pointing the needle lazily in Scot’s genral direction.  
“Just be glad noby got hurt to badly,” Silver Bell says as she looks over the various pieces of equipment they had picked up along the way. “We could have easily been ten feet foward when those walls came down and broken a leg, or worse.”  
“I’m not certain I could live with myself if I sent you guys in there and you didn’t come out,” Silver Spoon says in a worried tone, “Are you certain you want to go back in.” She looks over at the two mares beside her, “When I hired you I didn’t know the tunnles had degraded so completely.”  
“Don’t fret,” Sweety says as she lifts up a large metal object, like the chitin of an insect, “We knew there would be dangers to doing this. There always is.”  
“Besides, you got us the health potions we needed and have been providing the food we need for this,” Scootaloo says with a thankful grin.  
“Shame it’s all dried though,” bemoans Bloom.  
“Well it’s hard to transport fresh foods all the way down here, we must be two days from the surface,” Sweety says mater of factly.  
“Well,” Spoon says, pulling out a fresh apple, “We’ve been trying new ways of preserving fresh produce to cut down on worker illness, and these just came in during your last expedition into the tunnels.”

WHoa… wait up! “Diamond Industries”? Man, what sort of dealings went on between Diamond and Diamond and the CMC? It’s so sad this isn’t an actual series because I’m pretty sure a ton of people would love some context to all this stuff! XD

They’re doing a poor job. Unless DT only dropped off Silver Spoon to their place and didn’t stay with them for whatever crazy and stubborn reason.

Love Sweetie Belle’s expression. Seeing how Silver Spoon got healing salve from them and Sweetie is fixing up her weapon, it makes me wonder how DT must be about now. Probably mulling things over and being all embarrassed to wanting to be around the Apple Bloomers.
 
Worst case scenario, she returns to whatever dark force she turned her back on to seek forgiveness or pull a Magus vs Lavos encounter 1v1 like the overly prod derpster out to avenge the near death of her best friend.
 
But yeah, Diamond Tiara is likely just in another room being shy or something.

If they helped Silver Spoon from dieing, I can certainly see that being a good reason to not wanting to destroy them anymore. I guess. Not sure what the story behind this silly but most awesome magical girls universe but I do hope we find out eventually! xD

Yes, though, seemingly Apple Bloomers was created before 4/1 since I think AniBaru’s Apple Bloomers comic began before then. :3

Is this related to that video where Applebloom striped in front of a hydra and then because of her magic girl moment ponyville was destroyed?

Love this universe.

Lemme guess. The crusaders managed to do what the doctors were unable to do to Silver Spoon.
