Well…
Well, Pinkie in her micro mentioned her idol entertained the Griffin King and the way she said it gave it importance. Either he’s notorious for being serious, species and culture more strict, or the griffin nation is one of the ‘main’ powers nationally. Could be a mixture.
I liked to think Griffonstone, was some griffon vassel state made up of refugees and exiles from some greater griffon empire across the sea. While significantly autonomous they were still technically part of Equestria, thougth griffon pride and custom superseded pony ways. It would explain why Gilda went to a pony fligth school(sending kids to best university) and why their was a griffon team in the Equestrian games(their own little part of Equestria).
I’m happy the show even mentioned a griffon culture at all and that it was so detailed in some aspects but still it seems like they didn’t go far enough in established the role of griffon civilzation in the show world. I guess I can only hope that Griffonstone is some independent city state(Twiligth didn’t know their leader due to a presumed poltical mess and it’s unlikely Celestia would let Equestrian citizens suffer like that even if they weren’t ponies) relatively close that uses Equestrian bits due to their own lackluster economy.
Umm, The other kingdoms are across the sea. Griffonstone is just equestrias griffon kingdom.
If Griffonstone really represents the entire race of griffons (which I doubt)then suddenly the griffons and krogans from mass effect become surprisingly similer. With Gilda being Wrex and pinkie being Sheperd?
sooo should she charge 20 bits then?
good luck trying to teach your entire race to be kind and smart so they do not all get wiped the fuck out.
