Seriously like, what kind of reasoning is that? If married couples didn’t love each other anymore, then why would they arrange to spend the rest of their lives together like that? In fact, I’d think that still being in love is exactly the reason people (or ponies) get married!

There are very few characters Pinkie is considered unshippable with, simply because, well, it’s Pinkie and she’s a wildcard. Thus there’s not much shipping wars Pinkiewise that I’ve seen.

Weird how the comments are dominated by flashlight drama on a groverpie pic. I know how it happened, but it’s still weird it went this far.

I think that would be pretty interesting. Twilight’s trials as a human were funny enough, but seeing Flash attempting to figure out how to be a pony would be downright hilarious.

Fair enough, then, though the fact that, unlike Sunset, he has no way to contact her either would also play a part. Otherwise she could just bring him to her world.
 
But in terms of Twilight’s responsibilities and her love life, going down that road basically means that unless she’s bi, her options are going to be very limited, since she’ll have difficulty making time for anypony who doesn’t live in or near Ponyville, and Ponyville isn’t exactly crawling with eligible bachelors.

I never said anything about them having to get married, and I’m not pretending it’s not there.  
The thing is it’s no more a canon ship then Spike/Rarity, Spike’s attraction to Rarity is there and Rarity does care for Spike but they are not in a steady relationship in canon so not a canon ship.  
It’s the same thing for human-Flash and pony-Twilight, not in a steady relationship in canon.

As I said quite a few comments back, it depends on what you think a “ship” is. Flash and Twilight don’t have to outright get married for the pairing to be a thing. They’ve already flirted and fraternized and blushed and all that silly puppy love stuff. It’s definitely already begun. Where it will go is anyone’s guess, but there’s no sense in pretending it’s not there.

And the human-Flash/pony-Twilight ship ISN’T canon, it’s a ship tease meaning not canon with current events but possible.

Canon doesn’t ‘deny’ anything of the sort. Flash and Twilight have feelings for one another, but they live worlds apart. That’s a problem, but it’s not an impossible problem. Again I remind you this is fiction, where literally anything can happen. Obstacles are not the same as impossibilities.

I was talking about how Twi can’t keep going off to see human Flash, reasons pointing out in EqG why she can;t just go as she pleases, so it;s not that Ccanon doesn’t support it but that canon basically denies it.

Canon doesn’t generally support any pairing that doesn’t show up already married (or about to be). We must therefore assume there is dating going on off-screen, or the species would have long since ceased to exist.

No that id utter nonsense, being a made-up story about magical ponies and humans doesn;t mean you can hand wave away a canon problem pointed out IN the very same movies you say make the ship canon.  
This is basically making canon contradict itself and a general rule of canon in a series is when something gets contradicted then you have to go with the world of the main source to be the real canon and as there is No sign of the EqG having an event on the show that mean it’s not canon.
 
Once again I have to point out it’s not as simple as “this is canon” and “this is not canon” and with that people will not see the same unless something is made clear in the main source aka the show.
