That game is criminally underrated.
Right. The people that claim this show is purely for little girls, to use an obscure expression, don’t have both oars in the water. Lauren Faust intended FIM to be watchable by anyone who enjoys a good cartoon, and that’s how things still are.
That was my first thought too, if it was an intentional reference then I’m glad their doing stuff that is slightly more obscure than usual
