actually, according me to asking as well as a BUNCH of leaked spoiled about season from SDCC last year. there IS an episode where ALL of pinkie’s sisters and her parents make an appearance. it’s a family episode (i THINK it’s the christmas episode but that’s my opinion)

It’s mostly been agreed on that Inkie & Blinkie are now nicknames, which still works since technically “Pinkie” is one too, she just uses it in place of her full name all of the time.
Having said that, I’m surprised nobody else has thought of using Clyde or Sue as the middle names of their parents, considering one daughter has a human first name and another has a human middle name, it wouldn’t be that big of a stretch that at least one parent has a human middle name too
Actually? I kinda like that idea. Reminds me of that song about the Irish kid with two different names from his religiously-divided parents.
And headcanon recognition is always fine by me.
Let’s just pretend that one parent named two of them & the other named the other two.
Unless you wish not to, of course.
Eh, whatever. I’m not that annoyed, but I still think it’s lazy and uncreative to just give them rock names. “Pinkamena Diane” and “Marble” just don’t go together.
I think they will. They have been named in other official sources, and people haven’t freaked out when that happened. At least, I can’t remember a freakout occurring.

They probably will, but one does have to wonder if they’ll be referred to by name.
I’d read in one of the season 5 synopsis that Pinkie’s entire family is going to make an appearance in an episode.

They’re not going to do it. At least not with any attention called to them. Mostly because then they’d actually have to give their names, mildly ticking off those of us who prefer “Inkie and Blinkie”–and after the Derpy fiasco, they’ve apparently thought better about upsetting people over names.
