There’s no way that’s copyrightd by GW, it’s been around since the 60s and D&D (a Hasbro property) has been using it for decades
The Warhammer 8 pointed Chaos symbol has several different designs. Take a look at the Chaos marine’s chest plate in the links I posted earlier. No ring on that either.
That said, Games Workshop are very quick to attack any copyright infringement so if it is a reference then Hasbro are probably better keeping it obscure.
No ring => Not a Warhammer reference but the actual symbol of chaos in use today.

Had a quick look. I knew the voice actor list was on here somewhere

Then we wonder why 40k gets so many crossover references….
I know some of that’s my own fault, especially here at Derpibooru.
Totally genuine… although the symbol isn’t exclusively from WH40K so it might be a reference to something else.
If it is genuine, it could be a nod towards the crossover fans. Funny when you consider just how many of MLP’s voice actors also featured in the 40k game Soulstorm.
No, I think you’ve got it there. I think it was the sign of Lord Arioch, the Chaos god who was Elric’s patron.
we must not forget the most important thing though…
Viking rune?
There’s no viking runes in there. It’s just a popular symbol for chaos from the latter half of 20th century.
