I like what’s happening in between the PT and OT with the new canon. Especially Vader stories. But then again, I’ve always loved Vader stories post-ROTS back in the old EU (Ghost Prison and The Ninth Assassin). But the new ones from Marvel are pretty awesome.
For example:

So apparently he had himself cloned, and force controlled such Puppets, as needed. The big unanswered question remains… Was the Palpatine on the Death Star the real Emperor, or just a Puppet?
IIRC: in the EU Luke eventually finds, and kills Palpatine, but alas the EU is no longer canon.

You can’t earn Midi Chlorians, they essentially are a measurement of how connected to the force you are.

Well, to my belief the force is felt through all living things. But, there’s a level of how much you are connected to it with the Jedis and Sith. The Midi Chlorians are a Bactria that live in your blood, correct? I also heard of people before the Midi Chlorians who were “force sensitive”, so it makes me think: the Midi Chlorians are present in these “force sensitive” individuals. Now Anakin was said to have a large amount of Midis, which makes me believe that the more midis you have the more “force sensitive” you are. That doesn’t mean that lower midi count Jedis are weak, the amount of midis is the amount of possible strength, not how much you have. If one with low amounts of midis was to learn, educate, and focus the force enough; he could over power one who has more midis but is less focused. So to the haters: you’re still connected to the force, you’re just not “force sensitive”.
The Bare-Bones Point: the more Midi Chlorians you have, the more “force sensitive” you are. Midi Chlorians are only a rate of how powerful you could be, not how powerful you are.
