I see the resemblance and does anybody else think Poppy look like Tecna.
Originally they were just red and white. Blue was added in England to distinguish barbers from surgeons once the trades separated (blue and white for hair, red and white for surgeons), and eventually once surgery became less of a walk-in thing all three colors went to barbers.

Those Barber pattern lights you see spinning outside barber shops. They originally represent bloody bandages rolled onto a pole. They practiced a procedure known as “bloodletting” to cure certain diseases of patients back then.
