Yeah, I moved alot to, so sadly I lost contact with some of my childhood friends to growing up. As a teenager, I had more friends online, then IRL. (And that’s still kinda the case now. Cue “Forever Alone” face. lol)
Eh it happens, I didn’t have many friends as a kid since I moved on year basis (sometimes in less time), until high school, Where I was able to stay all four yeas.
Yeah, I agree. I even found Twilight’s interactions with her brother, and childhood babysitter as very adorable.
It’s kinda sad in a way she never had any actual friends her own age. I imagine she did interact with other li’l ponies as a kid, but just didn’t become “best friends” with them, and such.

I don’t see why; even in the BBBFF song she said “When I was just a filly, I found it rather silly, To see how many other ponies I could meet”. Sure she had Shining and Cadance, but two are family (SA and Spike) and the other is her babysitter, not regular ponies she specially went out of her way to be friends with.
Yeah, though Maud didn’t get any drama at all. Kinda surprising after all the “Twilight has a brother” drama. (Which didn’t bother me, ‘cause that was still early in the series, and nothing ever said she didn’t have a brother.) Though, some felt it kinda ruined her “orgin,” and such a bit about never understanding friendship, and such. (Though, I don’t think that meant she was a “hermit.”)
“Pinkie getting a third sister out of nowhere” There was for SA and Cadance because they popped-up first, thought like Maud that evaporated as people warmed up to them.
Yeah, it was a cute ep’. Granted Mrs. Cake is already kinda chubby, so her pregnancy wouldn’t be very noticeable in previous eps. Which is probably why some fans never questioned it.
Surprisingly, there wasn’t much drama over Pinkie getting a third sister out of nowhere. (Though, it could be argued she wasn’t in “Cutie-mark Chronicles,” Pinkie’s photo of her first party, had Maude in it in “Pinkie Pride.” So it was kinda a retcon.)
Though, Maude was pretty cool, in her own way, so I got no complaints.
Hey worked for the Cakes, and people love the baby cakes and “Baby Cakes”.
It’d be a bit awkward for them to of suddenly had a kid. Though, I wouldn’t mind it honestly. Baby ponies are cute.
I personally think it would be the prefect time.
There’s nice length of time between the wedding and this season so it would make sense, far better that introducing SA and Cadance for one episode then instantly having a kid in S3 when people though she was going to pop-up.
This sure is a fickle fanbase, isn’t it?
It’s probably to late to add her now, plus she’d have to be a baby for at least a season.
Wow I remember fans were freaking out and didn’t want to she her in the show; 2 years later and people are now asking “when” instead of “why”.
