First off, you get your finger away from the trigger. If you’re going to hold a gun like that, you want your finger away from the part that’s weight sensitive.
 
Second, eject the clip and clear the chamber, in that order. If you’re gonna keep it, might as well make sure it’s not gonna misfire.
