Pinkie may be the only pony who I hate as much as Rainbow Dash, but even I will say this is bullshit. Pinkie really does selflessly try to make people happy. She’s just so fucking stupid and a hyper git 24/7 that I find her to be annoying brat. But she is selfless and trying to make people feel good, just failing due to abject stupidity. Which makes her better then Rainbow by a narrow margin.

This reminds me of that one episode of Friends where Phoebe, I think, was asked to do one completely selfless act, including not feeling good about it after.
 
This is about 10 times the level of bullshit present in that episode; combined with the fact that it made me reference Friends in 2012 and no fucking wonder this was a BP post.

People need to be partly selfish in order to be selfless.  
If you’re only selfless, you’ll forget to help yourself in the long term, which will make the spreading of happiness short lived.  
Focusing on enough of your own happiness allows you to be more genuinely active towards making others happy.  
Therefore, Pinkie is selflessly selfish.
