Well, According to animation writer, author, and lyricist, Amy Keating Roger, Princess Amore was “a very distant relative” of Princess Cadance. This means that Amore is the ancestor of Cadance. Because in The very first chapter book, “Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell”, Princess Celestia renamed her “Mi Amore Cadenza” to honor the life of Princess Cadance’s deceased ancestor and adopted her as her niece. So I agree that both Cadance and Amore are related.

How about this scenario? Radiant hope was stuck outside the Chrystal Empire when it disappeared. With nothing left she took on the mission to sage princess amore, and ultimately succeeded. But amore was a princess without a kingdom and lived the rest of her life in relative obscurity.  
She ultimately started the family line that princess Cadence comes from, which is why Cadence is connected to the Chrystal heart.

You know, there is a difference between Hellboy and Sombra.
 
Hellboy was raised by a father in a world that evil and cruel men ran rampant everywhere and his father was on the front lines leading an order to stop it. Giving it straight to the boy gives him a chance to survive because they know something will happen sooner or later.
 
Sombra was raised in an environment where no one struggled. The Crystal Heart kept evil out. They didn’t have to worry about evil, so in a situation like this, they didn’t know what to do and thought perhaps it would pass. It was a situation no one was prepared for.

Because she was most likely afraid of what would happen. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. She most likely thought Sombra would research or study dark magic, which would inevitably push him over the edge.
 
However, we don’t see that since the comic skips over that part to jump to his evil ascension into Arthas pony.
 
Not hating on this comic. I do enjoy it, but I’m just trying to defend Amore’s decisions.

You know this comic sorta kinda paralleled my own headcanon and for that it is the best thing ever.

read the next page, he didn’t killed her, just broke her in pieces and thrown them around the world, in his words, she could be restored if someone foud all the pieces…and nobody did for 1k years.
