If anything, the Ito Ito no mi (String-String Fruit) is proven to be one of the most broken Devil Fruits thanks to One Piece’s latest chapter.
I think that’s a completely different devil fruit. Most likely going to be seen in a filler arc.

Well, one could hardly call it amphibious then.
Oughta call it the Ripoff Fruit.
You basically become completely paralyzed and defenseless when submerged in water.
Because the weakness overrides the power. Being partially submerged in any sort of standing water renders the power useless and the person weak.
Yeah, sell it! Transforming into an aquatic animal with the weakness of becoming completely helpless in water is a terrible superpower.
Now, if it was one of the more broken paramecia devil fruit (Hobi Hobi no Mi anyone?) or a logia devil fruit (elemental powers with large-scale destructive capabilities for the win) I’d say eat it.
Wait, if it’s amphibious, how much less of a weakness is water?
True, it gives the power to turn into a giant amphibious animal, while giving the standard devil fruit weakness to water.
It’ll taste worse.
I’d sell it myself. The fruit doesn’t seem all that good to me.
Alternatively, sell it. Make tons of money.
