No no no. With “backstory” I don’t mean “whole life”. Just their childhood and teen years, that’s it. Even though I love that book, I didn’t use its plot about the two horses for AJ’s parents. They both died, yes, but in different ways.
Well, it implies rather unpleasant things about Appledad’s death. And what happened afterwards.
Uh… I just based their names (and a little their backstory) on Orwell’s Animal Farm draft horses… Is something wrong because of this?
