Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together, and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the elder sister became resentful. Her sister relished and played in the night she brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful day. One fateful day, the elder unicorn refused to lower the sun to make way for the dusk. The younger sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the older one’s heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of hatred: Solar Flare.

She vowed that she would shower the land in eternal day. Reluctantly, the younger sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Celestia was mad that they worked all day and never stopped to admire the day time and rested happily during the night.

Her greed to make the day last infinitely was so over powering, ponies and their day time acts became so difficult due to the heat, causing crops to catch fire and lakes to dry out. It was a terrible time.

More likely it’d be something about how weak and useless and unnecessary Luna is. At least, that’s how I imagine Moon’d!Celestia would go.

In this universe, Luna has to frequently deny the existence of a “Lunar Empire” and a “New Solar Republic”, And is frequently accused of debauchery, tiranny and all-around rude behavior.

Well a mare on the sun would be harder to see methinks.
