Blacksmithing refers only to iron (and iron alloy, the “black” metals) smithing. Nails, hooks, other miscellanea. Goldsmithing is jewelry, silversmithing is cutlery - named after metals most used for the purpose.  
Smithing trades were very specialized back in the day, less so nowadays but still present. Blacksmith != armorsmith != weaponsmith != farrier != goldsmith. Hell, armorsmiths don’t even need the forge most of the time, armor plates are shaped cold.
 
That said, the picture depicts a blacksmith shop, other varieties use different (usually smaller) tools.

this reminds me of that. I wanna see smith rarity making something set to that.

This needs to accompany a heavy metal version of “Art of the Dress”, with a guitar solo for when Rarity pours the gold.

In “Stare Master”, Rarity mentioned making “gold silk” and how long it took. So yes, I expect she makes cloth-of-gold and other articles of precious metal as part of her dressmaking trade.

I always imagined that Rarity did some jewel smithing as well. Would make sense, since she works so much with gems.
