The story of Ahuizotl being the son of Discord may be interesting, perhaps he was a puppy adopted by Discord in his loneliness after his stay with Baast and with the court of King Vorak.
 
Their relationship was healthy until they had their series of disagreements each time Ahuizotl grew to such an extent that they separated and now Ahuizotl became a guardian who takes strange and extreme methods to hustle the invaders due to the strange teaching that Discord gave him in his childhood

I was kind of surprised to see that he was based off an actual cryptid when I was looking up reference pics, but I still think Discord may have been involved. :p

Look his name up in Mayan and Incan mythology, I do believe his species is from that neck of the woods.
