The game is still completely neutral and doesn’t require you to kill your pony. Abuse or care for it is there.

It’s from a game where you’re supposed to look after a baby pony of your choice.  
Not seen the game itself, but basically the game’s designed so it’s virtually impossible to keep the pony alive.  
There’s also the option to kill off the pony, and that’s why it’s got a grimdark source tag.  
For your own sanity I’d recommend avoiding clicking on the joypony tag if you haven’t got filters on. I did, and that’s how I know what the rest of the game’s about.

I think the downvoting here is more because of the source than the actual image (which is ridiculously cute).
