OK, I chuckled.

Neigh Anything was hilarious and I loved the 80’s references, but it does NOT gel with anything in standard MLP:FiM canon. At the very least, you’d have to assume that either Cadance and Shining Armor have been dating for 25 years, or the Equestrian “80’s” was less than ten years ago. I don’t hold that against it though, you just have to take it on it’s own.
I haven’t read “Reflections” yet personally, but yeah I prefer characters even “greater good” ones like Celestia to be a bit flawed. I did like “Neigh Anything” even though some didn’t care for it. (Guess it was “to ’80s” for some.)
Well not for MLP at least, but I’m pretty sure he used to be (possibly still is)? an inker for DC comics, which is why he has the Batman logo as his OC’s cutie mark.
Cook & Price are basically a team, and if you ever see them at a convention panel together you’ll understand why, they have great chemistry together. I doubt IDW will be breaking them up anytime soon. I hope they never do either, because when I think of the MLP comics, Cook & Price are the team I immediately associate with them.
Of course, I’m also one of the few who seemed to enjoy Reflections anyway… I liked the way it “humanized” Celestia and showed she was once did something that could only paint her as “young, stupid, and irresponsible.”
Yeah, I doubt they’re going to fire Katie Cook over that.
In fact, I actually find all the hate over her, and Andy ironic, because people used to love their stories until the controversial “Reflections” story-arc. (Also, has Andy ever done art for a different writer?)
