Very briefly:  
People enjoying a deviant interest (such as diapers) don’t like being reminded that it’s off-putting to others. It is permitted to voice your opinion on such things, but discouraged. It detracts from enjoyment value, and serves no useful purpose (i.e. people with deviant interests are not likely to give them up just because of a few wet blankets). Therefore it is nice not to mention that you personally find it distasteful.
 
The filter system exists to help you avoid content you find personally distasteful.

There’s a settings button on the dropdown menu right on your name. On the filters tab is where you can input tags by certain artists, fetishes, and so on.
