I’m thinking it would be Blueblood probably. He’s the guy already in government small time, flies under most people’s radar as the true villain, he’s also huge and muscular, plus rich enough to afford the NANOMACHINES SON.
Shining Armor fits the size, but he’s too friendly to fit the bill, being military first and government second. He’s a good Boris role, though, and exains how Twilight is working for him.
Spike was already a dog, so it’s not too much of a stretch.

Wait, why not make Flash into the Raiden? Character that was disliked in his first appearances and kind of a butt-monkey, but then has an interesting backstory and took a few levels in badass to redeem himself in the eyes of fans.
i dunno…solidus sentry has to be responsible for making their raiden equivalent.
