That’s the demographic. A developer would have to be a fool not to attract young gamers.
That said, it isn’t hard to find an adult guild and adult companions and mostly avoid younger people outside of leveling. Realistically, you can’t hope for more than that. And no, there’s statistically no difference between horde and alliance demographics, especially since the majority of players play both.
Chroumaguss used to be a really friendly PvP server until this cross-realm Bullshite to be honest. I’m talking you could just stroll into the Alliance capital as a Belf Rogue and dance on the mailbox and you only had to worry about the guards.
They killed you, implying that either A: You had attacked alliance flagged NPCs and flagged yourself, B: you attacked flagged players and flagged yourself, or C: you were playing on a PVP server. All of which would justify murdering you, regardless of faction, the first two because you dun directly provoked it, and the third because that’s how those shitty-ass servers work, learn to make better decisions when selecting your server next time. :V
Or I guess there is option D: You are somehow blaming the NPCs for attacking and killing you. (Never assume an answer is too stupid and obvious to be true.)

For example, It was a while since I met a child on ArcheAge. (Not an easy game, most kids quit.)
All MMOs are filled with children. Even blood-soaked ones. (Admittedly, the most time I’ve spent on an MMO was the Pocket Legends series, the first of which is definitely child-oriented. X3 )
The Alliance/Allience is filled with dickwads though.
Like, I loved to go near Goldshire as a Horde, being all sneaky. Without fail, every single time, someone came and killed me.
I mean, if you ain’t doing anything, I’m not going to try and kill you if you’re hanging out close to a Horde settlement.
And… Honestly, both factions are filled with children.
