Interesting to see the contrast between the Kilalaverse and the Carnisverse regarding Rarity’s pregnancy.

Chinese/Korean/Japanese mythology also has the odd member of dragon royalty assuming human form to negotiate with or court mortals. Plus, aside from the kirin (which actually started out as a sort of composite deer-thing & was portrayed with draconic features later), Chinese legends include the longma (an actual dragon/horse mix). The More You Never Needed To Know(TM).

I’m asking what source you’re getting that from, because I’ve seen a lot of dragon-related media and I’ve never seen that come up before.

actually lore wise (as in dragon lore) dragons are among the most fetile creatures ever created…they can mate with virtually ANYTHING and give birth to a baby…the only things they cant mate with are undead creatures and maybe elemental ones (as in beings made of pure fire and so on) …and im not eben perfectly sure about elementals…dragons are elemental beings themselves…in this case it was most probably raritys side the one with the problem…heck dragons are so freaking fertile its rare their babys DONT get born with one of many special dragon powers and abilities

Too right.

Kinda partial to Carni’s spin at this point; overall, Kilala’s Rarity seems just a bit comedically put-upon for my tastes. ’Bout time that was balanced out with a Dad!Spike-pratfall or two.
