the arcade machine is fighting mania:fist of the north star
as far as i know, there IS an emulator for it but I prefer the arcade machine if possible (a perfect working condition at an arcade is near impossible to find now. even the more common poorly maintained ones are hard to find).

personally i play the game without the gloves because it slows me down.

that part surprised me when i got to play punchmania 2. too bad i was waaaay out of shape to play it at the tougher settings (back when i was regularly playing punchmania 1 i can easily crack the 100 punches thing. now i’m lucky if i can crack 50).
well DUH! you’d HAVE to have the training to do both
in my experience doing that while playing the game will lead to a [game over] if you don’t watch out/have the stamina (easier done in the easier levels, MURDER in the harder settings)
