Yeah dude you kinda gotta read into context a bit more, I mean yeah we usually call Twilight Sparkle just Twilight but 411 was responding to me after I mentioned sparkling vampires which is well about the book series ‘Twilight’.

Not really strange at all why people got mad. They basically out of the blue turned Twilight into an Alicorn, it was shoehorned in and looked like a toy selling decision from Hasbro instead of one to improve the story. Many people though that if it happened at all it would be much later in the series with much more build up. Being the half the reason this show got its following was that people liked that it was storyline driven instead of a half hour toy commercial it naturally pissed folks off.
 
All of the above comes on the heels of long standing feelings about hypothetical future alicornafication. The fact is that Twilight becomes an Alicorn was considered by most people to be solely the territory of terrible fanfics. In terms of Alicorn Twilight appearing in the show it was shorthand in the community for either A the writers run out of idea’s or B they sells out and turn the show into a commercial. Alicorn Twilight concept was ling disliked even before it was ever a possibility, it was the butt of many jokes.
 
The reason the criticism of Alicorn Twilight went away is simple, because the writers were able to pull it off. They did an incredible job salvaging what very easily could have been a disaster. I personally believed the show would go downhill after word but was pleasantly surprised by the latest season.

Sadly it’s a horror I can never escape.  
My mother loved the series, I watched the movies and she told me everything about the book.

Huh, kinda funny how we were treating Twilight as the worst poison to the adolescent mind a year or so back, and nowdays nobody even remembers it anymore save for the occasional crack…

The actual smart thing to do is just work at a blood bank or feed off of animals.  
But if you sparkle, do yourself a favor and kill yourself - there is no redemption beyond that point ;~;
