Actually, from what we’ve seen, The Great and Powerful Trixie is only a average unicorn. She’s just very, very good at making herself look more powerful than all the others.
Of course, she would use Twlight’s promotion as proof that she’s the most powerful unicorn outside of Celestia’s meddling.
And the only other pony who could challenge her for the title isn’t in Equestria. Everything’s coming up Trixie!
