You certainly do seem determined to start an unnecessary argument, but I’m still not sure how you’re getting “rant” out of one paragraph’s worth of nonconfrontational explanation.
*i now have
Yes, because telling him it’s just as believable for a Target exclusive as a Toys R Us exclusive doesn’t get the poitn across.
I told him what was needed to know, any explanation of why they have exclusives is not needed to tell someone that exclusives at other stores are real, it’s like you tell someone why a tire is made of rubber then go one to tell them why there is a wheel in the first place, you already got the point across and the rest is not adding anything needed.
This is why I said you like to rant and why I said before I know have to hold back myself from reporting you right away, all this added shit that is not needed will just start all sorts of things off.
Make you point and only if someone want more info of your reasoning then you can go oh your little rants.
Well that’s kind of pointlessly combative. Your post may have had brevity, but it also had no explanation of why retailers have exclusives or why Hasbro approves so many of them.
You just love to rant on, don’t you?
I said the same thing as you but with far less.
Oh no, that actually is a thing that several of the major retail outlets do; the most obvious examples are the Hot Topic Exclusives– where all the new full size figures get released first at Hot Topic (…dammit) and only appear elsewhere six to eight months later– and the Toys”Я”Us brushable collections. It costs Hasbro almost nothing to produce something like a recolor or redeco, and retailers will pay a minor premium on top of their regular distribution license to be able to brand such variants as exclusive to their stores because they know that collectors will seek them out and thus be more likely to also buy other stuff at the same time. The only places you’ll see things like this for sale outside of their exclusive stores are on eBay and other auction sites, convention dealers (who also bought them from the exclusive stores), and maaayyybe at bulk resale outlets like BigLots! years later.
There are a number of Target exclusive things that pop up, it’s just as believable as Toys R Us exclusive or Walmart exclusive.
I’m sure.
(If it was Toys R Us it would be believable.)
…okay nevermind it’s on their website with free local pickup
And that fact magically puts a picture of the item on Derpibooru?
grabs popcorn
>implying that Rarity is part of the mane six and not a background pony
That’s Hello Kitty, not Rarity.
