Whilst I haven’t got around to watching the film yet, the clips I’ve seen place Adagio as the ring leader of the group, and generally has the character of a teenage Diamond Tiara. (I.E. instant dislike from me).
 
Aria, whilst the pigtails should appear cute, also has that evil streak, and the colors seem to obliterate the cuteness somehow.
 
Sonata comes across as being a cute but dim character, who just tags along because she doesn’t know any better. I’ve not seen that many clips, but every time Sonata comes up, she’s doing something ridiculously cute. (Such as that scene where she’s patting her legs during Snips and Snails’ rap, or the (now infamous) taco tuesday scene).
