I know, people who made the original “Banjo” games, and stuff sadly don’t work there, and Rare has very few employees now.

Interestingly, JollyJack (an artist from DA, and likes the MLP:FiM show to) used to work at Rare.

Yeah, they ruined that company which was another concern that made people feel uneasy that Minecraft would die slowly making the company that makes just resort to Avatar clothes like Rare, only using their IPs as a mean to sell crappy products like that Conker fiasco.

Sense Minecraft was primerly a PC game, they might have it also for PC for those who don’t an X-Box One. They’ve had some PC versions to X-Box games before, but you never know.

One thing, I don’t like Microsoft for doing was buying off Rareware, and pretty much let them go out of business…

Well, I meant more that when Microsoft got Minecraft, they’d remove it off other platforms and stick is souly on the Xbone, so people would have to buy the console to play that, just like when the bribed the creators of Tomb raider to make the new one exclusive. That pissed a lot of people off, and the only thing they get is a rerelease of the last one for PS4. I think now it’s been confirmed time exclusive but still a pretty dirty trick by M$ when they say they don’t need excusive when the Xbox one is flying off the shelve… And right back the next day.

Actually, I think it’s a different story with the Minecraft creator. He made remarks mocking the WiiU before, and flat-out said he doesn’t plan on bringing his Minecraft game to Nintendo systems even before said buy-out. So people had doubts about Minecraft ever reaching Nintendo systems in the first place.

I don’t know why some companies/game-makers have an issue against Nintendo. And people wonder why Nintendo doesn’t have enough third-party support…
Still, they actually have lots of third-party games on their systems, but problem is they either aren’t usually as popular, or are the same games you can get on the competition.

It’s also odd, considering with the WiiU “Game Pad’s” touchscreen it would be ideal for PC games as I saw one WiiU reviewer stated, (like Minecraft) which is something I’m surprised that neither Nintendo, or third-party companies are capitalizing on, which could give the WiiU an edge over the competition. But rather then see that potential people see the controller, and go, “Ew gimmicky, not touching that!” (I really don’t understand the backlash over the WiiU “Game Pad.”… It looks more like a regular controller then the Wii-mote did, and the touch-pad, microphone, and such in it could be useful for games. NOT bashing the Wii-mote BTW.)
I hate to sound like a Nintendo fanboy, but if it weren’t for “gimmicky” controllers Ninendo made like say ones that had a + shaped D-pad, instead of a huge joystick in the ‘80s, gaming wouldn’t be the way it is today.

Y’know considering WiiU was made for Nintendo to go back to focusing on the basic hardcore-gamers market, if gamers want more “hardcore” games on Nintendo systems they better support WiiU, or Nintendo’s going to go back to focusing on the “casual” market most likely if “hardcore” gamers, and some third-party companies are just going to abandon them…
(Though, honestly I hate the whole “hardcore VS casual” thing going on in the gaming fandom/market… I wish they never coined those terms, as it’s really dividing gaming… Some gamers hear “casual” and go, “EW CASUAL!” despite playing games like Minecraft, and/or Tetris which would be considered “casual” gaming in some ways…)

Also, there was alot of irony that people complained about “Bayonetta” being WiiU-exclusive right after they were complaining that WiiU doesn’t have enough exclusive violent/hardcore games for it. (Not to mention said game is being helped funded/published by Nintendo, in fact.) Some gamers will never be pleased.

I like other game-systems/companies, I’m just tired of all the bias against Nintendo going around lately personally.

Should also specify what I meant was EA is likely the reason Sim City was taken off VC, as Wil Wright maker of the game has nothing against Nintendo.

Yeah, that was pretty much a given, and one of the reasons why a lot of people were apprehensive to hear Minecraft get bought by Microsoft.

And yeah, I guess it does seem like double-standards they easily forgive the X-Box One instead.
(Remember all the questionable “requirements” they were going to have originally before it’s release? Like charging you a “licensing fee” so they can charge you for rental/used games, and such? Imagine if Nintendo or Sony did things like that…)

Oh I know! Xbots would jump all over that like piranhas on a carcass. Not to mention trying to take a away people’s rights by banning them for bad language even offline, because of their horendious reputation for bad-mouthed 10 year olds so in stead of telling dumb parents stop buying them M-rated games they give in and make it even more of a babysitter for them.

Really? I would’ve loved those games personally, as a retro-gamer at heart. I guess you can’t please everyone…

yeah, and detractors said it was bullshit they did that and the free games weren’t enough and declare Nintendo dead and try to convince everyone that the Xbox is better.

Then here comes Xbox one saying “Gotta use Kinect or I ain’t gonna work. Better pray the soldering’s not crappy on this one!” with and extra $100 price tag that was non-negotiable by the way. Maybe a year later here comes good Ole’ Microsoft saying we don’t need the Kinect anymore going back on everything they said they wanted the system to be! Hooray! :D
and what about the fans that bought your system for the $500, they must have gotten something pretty good, because they’re always saying great things about Microsoft!

Yeah, EA has issues they need to fix… I also don’t like how they bought off Maxis and “Sim City.” (I must add, Sim City for SNES was taken off the Virtual Console. Gee, I wonder why… And ironically, Will Wright creator of the game is practically best friends with Shigeru Miyamoto, ever sense he helped him make the SNES version of “Sim City.”)

At least Nintendo respects it’s customers, and doesn’t treat them as suckers. Like when they cut the price of the 3DS down less the a year after it’s launch, they at least compensated gamers with 10 free NES games, and 10 free GBA games to download. (This was the only way to get GBA games for 3DS BTW.) That enough free download software to actually be worth more then the price cut, (considering GBA VC games on WiiU are $7-$8 each) so it was actually a very good deal.
Not to mention, they refunded peoples Club Nintendo coins for Virtal Console title “Super Metroid” when it went on sale for 30-cents from the “Famicom 30th Anniversary” promotion last year. (It was offered on CN for CN coins that same month.)

Yeah, EA is a vampire, but surprisingly someone from EA actually stood up for gamers in regards to all the craps that gone down since August. I don’t know remember their names, but I kind of hope he keeps that ideal and moves up in the company to make EA better, because as of right now; I wouldn’t tell anyone to buy an EA product. And I work at a game stop! We pretty much bend over for EA, but I say Screw them! If I gotta wait for a patch to play a freaking game because it was broke AT LAUNCH! I’m not giving them money!

Yeah, I heard that rumor that EA apparently hates Nintendo now, because they wouldn’t let them impliment their “Orgin” service (and have full-control over said service) on the Nintendo Eshop. (Would explain why Bob Summerwill was bashing the Eshop.)
Ironically, gamers actually considered that a good thing, and cheered Nintendo on, sense apparently EA & their “Orgin” service have screwed over customers before.

I remember when I mentioned this to a friend on their message board, this is what they had to say.
“After what EA did to Pet Society, I’m VERY glad they’re not working with Nintendo anymore. They purchased a long standing, free, online game… added “Playfish cash” where you could buy game gold with real money. They then had a 40% off sale for this fake money, and TWO DAYS after the sale was put up, announced that they were removing the game forever and that nobody would be getting their money back. So all those people that just got playfish cash in the sale? They had to spend it all on a game that was being shut down in 5 weeks with no chance of refund. The game is not being kept up on any servers once they close it. So basically, they robbed a shit-ton of people.”

Not to mention EA was just plan butthurt at Nintendo for not letting them nickel and Dime people with chucks of the game ripped out and re-sold as DLC, which is why they hightailed it to Microsoft.

I hate to say it, but I think the reason some companies tend to go with the competition is ‘cause their consoles are usually more powerful, or have “better graphics.” (The PSP was more powerful then the DS, but the DS had it’s perks… Like it wouldn’t shatter like glass if you dropped it, and wasn’t as expensive.)
I remember EA Sports’ Bob Summerwill was relentlessly bashing Nintendo & the WiiU, his reasons sounding like typical graphics-mongering gamer fanboy reasons… Sadly, graphics/power are pretty much the only things some gamers/companies care about… (Honestly, game graphics are “so good” nowadays I don’t see much difference between the consoles honestly, even the WiiU which is also HD.)

(Also, his assertion that “third-party games don’t sell on Nintendo systems, and only Mario & Zelda sell” is ironic, as many top-10 selling game lists from the past months/years for Nintendo consoles show many top selling games are third-party titles. In fact, some third-party series like “Sonic” tend to sell better on Nintendo consoles.)

Yes, both Mega Man: Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X would interest Nintendo fans more than Sony fans since the majority of Mega Man’s most successful games were on Nintendo platforms.

I’d like to play it, but I have no PSP.
Archie Comics did pay homage to said game in their “MegaMan” comic series by introducing Oil Man, and such into the series.
