pfttt lol
No, it was me, and I was referring to their lingo and slang.
Someone was too young to use the site.
Fact: there isn’t a stallion that can match Applejack, as there wasn’t one to match Pinkie Pie Before Cheese Sandwich came into scene.
I know that, but I don’t get what the phrase means. ._.
Fuck. That’s the word.
Ah well, I tried for a joke and it fell flat.
k..?
I don’t get it, sorry.
Think about what “buck” is usually a censor for.
I don’t know what that means.
Not applebucking season for you I see.
I may be biased as I don’t care for the ship at all and I love Caramac a lot.
Still, AJ is lacking in straight ships.
No, Applespike does not count.
“Description Time!
Starting from the left
Applebee
Parents: Big McIntosh and Fluttershy
Cutie Mark: An apple with a bee flying around it. Her talent consists of caring for insects and helping on the farm
Personality: Applebee is a very soft-spoken Pegasus. When speaking to acquaintances or other ponies, she typically responds with one worded answers like her father would (“Mm-hm, yup, nope, mm-mm, eehhmm…). But when she’s with close friends, she’ll gladly talk with them. Though she does have a habit of babbling about many kinds of insects (be it facts, shapes, where they come from, what they do, etc). When working on the farm, she’ll nab apples that don’t fall from bucks, and she’ll typically fly around and do the small chores while her stronger family members do the laborious tasks. It’s not that she’s lazy or unwilling to help, she’s just not as strong as her other family members, and is better suited to do the smaller jobs. She’s kind, caring, and always wants to help. Though she deals with her own anxieties, and if they come into play, it can weaken her and make her flee instead of help.
Topaz
Parents: Duke Blueblood* and Rarity
Cutie Mark: One big, bright blue gem. He carves jewels into beautiful cuts for his mother and for other fashion designers.
Personality: In a slightly rare occurrence, Topaz was born an Earth pony, even though his parents are both Unicorns. He’s not as “outspoken” as his mother is, and is more of a humble, “stay-behind-the-scenes” kind of stallion. He does share her love of beauty, specifically gems and their many shapes and cuts. Despite lacking magic, he manages to use his natural strength to create many different cuts of the gems his mother gives him. Despite his burly appearance, he has a gentleness to him. He works on his own in Ponyville (Rarity and Blueblood primarily living in Canterlot), importing his cut jewels to his mother and other businesses. He prefers the small town over the stuffy, bustling city.
Stella Nova
Parents: Flash Sentry and Princess Twilight Sparkle
Cutie Mark: Stars and a Supernova. Her special talent is in astrology
Personality: Born a Unicorn just like her mother used to be, Stella is proud of her parentage. Proud as she is though, she doesn’t go rubbing it in other ponies faces. In all technicalities, she carries the title of “Princess” as well, but only due to who her mother is. She finds no importance in it as of yet, and doesn’t think herself as anything big, requesting that everypony “forget” the title. She’s educated in astronomy, and spends a lot of her time in the Observatory to learn more. She’s become a bit of a night owl because of it, and finds it hard to wake up in the morning. She’s friendly, brave, and tries to take up the leader role, following both after her mother and her uncle.
Strawberry (Marz) Marscarpone Sandwich
Parents: Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie
Cutie Mark: A strawberry-mascarpone sandwich with a strawberry. He loves to cater to his parents’ parties, cooking up many things in huge amounts.
Personality: Preferring to be called by Marz, this young stallion surprised everyone when he was born with a Unicorn horn, despite both of his parents being Earth Ponies. Then again, knowing his parentage, it was partially expected. As he got older, he proved he was a true Pie/Sandwich via his personality and talent. He’s bubbly, bouncy, and very eccentric. He absolutely LOVES to cook, and finds his talent in catering for events. He always finds it a challenge when the order comes in. As he says, “The bigger the better and the more the merrier!”.
Honeycrisp
Parents: Caramel and Applejack
Cutie Mark: A Honeycrisp apple. Her talent is working on the farm as a farmer, along with most of her family.
Personality: Honeycrisp is nearly identical to her mother in personality. Strong-willed, stubborn, and doing what she can for the farm. She does have her own unique qualities, such as being a bit of a hothead. Her temper can flare up at times, though she does what she can to keep it under control. One way to know she’s pissed is when she continuously bucks at the trees in Sweet Apple Acres (or any trees, for that matter). Some good qualities however is her ability to be a “mother” to her group of friends. She wants to be sure her friends are happy, fed, warm when needed, all that. This leads some (mainly Lightning) to sarcastically call her “Mom” when she’s in this mode. She truly does care for them all, even if she butts heads with some of them at times.
Lightning Bolt
Parents: Soarin and Rainbow Dash
Cutie Mark: A lightning bolt. This shows his talent for speed (inherited from his mother) and his athletic abilities. Also shows his witty and “shocking” personality.
Personality: A full-blooded Pegasus, Lightning takes his flying seriously. Very proud with a big ego, Lightning enjoys racing. He’s nowhere near as fast as his mother, but he’s above average in his own speed due to both his mother and father. Loves to poke fun with others, but tries not to go too far. He’s rather competitive, sometimes finding challenge in the most menial of tasks. Despite his love for flying and racing, he’s not too interested to follow in his parents’ hoofsteps. He respects the Wonderbolts, but doesn’t want to be one. Despite his prideful personality, he does what he can to protect the ones he cares for. If anything, it’s a case of “Nobody does this but ME”, but everyone knows his intentions are good.
*Duke Blueblood’s (which, according to the MLP staff, was meant to be his title) marriage to Rarity is primarily based in headcanon territory, though it’s a rather convincing one that I shall share to explain myself.
During the episode “Best Night Ever”, we see that Blueblood is nothing but an arrogant, snobbish prick. He treats Rarity poorly, ruins her dress, and insults Applejack’s food, among other things. It makes us wonder how Celestia and Luna could tolerate such an unruly stallion, and makes us wonder further how Rarity could stand him in the episode “Sweet and Elite”!
Well, what if I told you that the Blueblood we met at the Gala wasn’t the true Blueblood?
Where’s the proof? Well, as said, this is all merely a headcanon, but allow me to explain.
Equestria Games Blueblood
^ look here at this screenshot from “The Equestria Games”. What do you see?
-Slightly duller color (though most of it attributes to the shading)
-3 crowns for a cutiemark. Fitting for a noble, wouldn’t you say?
Best Night Ever Blueblood
^ now look at this image from “Best Night Ever”.
-Brighter color
-An irregular compass star. Sorta odd for a noble of his caliber to have that as a cutiemark, eh? Not to mention that an irregular compass star is usually a sign of fooling others and throwing them off.
Well, someone of the Duke’s/Prince’s caliber would be considered a celebrity right? ……Celebrities have impersonators.
In my headcanon, the Blueblood at the Gala was an impersonator. Someone who managed to worm his way into the Gala in the Duke’s place (the real Blueblood probably either late or unable to attend). This impersonator turned out to be rude and snobbish, while the true Blueblood was kind and a gentlecolt.
One other point to mention:
-Rarity’s daydream had Celestia introduce Blueblood to her. However at the Gala, “Blueblood” was staying away from Celestia, causing Rarity to have to go find him. Fitting, since Celestia would probably be able to tell he wasn’t her nephew. The timing of it also played a part, as Rarity found him before she asked Celestia. Had she asked, Celestia might’ve told her that he was away or arriving late.
As such, I figure during “Sweet and Elite”, Rarity might’ve come to realize what had happened after getting the chance to meet the REAL Blueblood.”
