Honestly, my only problem with “Monopoly” is it usually takes forever to finish. The NES version had a time limit option tho’.

I played this with my family on New Year’s Eve. My love and patience was tested.

… You’d be amazed how many were just introduced to Monopoly at such a young age that they never got a handle back then and don’t think they could do so now. shrugs

Eh, I usually lose interest in Monopoly halfway through (mostly cuz I’ve no idea how the hell I play it), and Mario Party…the series got a little tougher thanks to the CPUs getting better luck, so I lost interest after 8.

I always played Monopoly with my friends.  
Though, none of us know how so we just buy stuff and flip cards.

After something like that happened, me & my sister teamed-up against the A.I. players, which was fun revenge.

I played Mario Party the other day with my 8-year-old niece and two AI players set to ‘weak’. I won just about every minigame, but due to a string of bad luck (poor rolls, star placement, and my trading coins with an AI), one AI won in a landslide, the other came in second, my niece in third, and I in dead last.

Monopoly: Could take forever.
 
Mario Party: GOOD LUCK BEING FRIENDS AFTER A GAME!

Only time any-a those sucka MCs ever beat me at Monopoly is when they cheat they fool asses off.

Speaking of Monopoly, I actually liked the NES version of it, especially the music.

I used to play Monopoly with my cousins quite a bit. There was never any drama or anything.

thing is its a joke based on reality. yeah theres plenty of people who can play it without getting in a fight but if you got two people with anger issues involved a fight WILL happen.
 
me and my bro both have anger issues and our mom actually had to ban us from playin Mario party games cause we got in a fist fight cause I stole 1 fricken star from my bro pretty much. and most times ive seen people play games like Mario party and theres an ill tempered person playin at some point their yelling at someone over something stupid and sometimes it escalates.
 
so yeah it doesn’t always ‘end’ friendships but it does provoke it if given the chance or opportunity.

I have actually won a game of Monopoly in less than an hour. I may never pull that off again.
