Well truth be told, the story does a fairly good job of explaining how they got to be in such a state: Twilight knows how much Trixie likes Twilight’s attitude, but when her friends are around she is FAR from being in that ‘rapist’-state anymore. Trixie’s confidence has deteriorated heavily due to being trapped in the bottle for so long, to the point where Twilight, simply by being around her, feeds Trixie’s inferiority complex. It doesn’t help that, being trapped in the bottles for so long, Trixie still doesn’t have any family and had no one care about looking for her, while Twilight had several friends, and even has some family, which further damages the already psychologically-fragile performer.
 
It’s not like they can actually HAVE sex (well, couldn’t, anyways…), so it ends up amounting to very, very little more than a personality trait that carried over from who they once were, and what they once had (Twilight can’t make notes or read books or study, she can only really do things with Trixie).

Well… to be honest id rather the artist not see my opinion.
 
I despise every single thing about Twixiegenies. It bugs me to my core, every one i read i imagine a tiny checklist surrounding it pointing out all the things wrong with the plot and the themes and the wildly inconsistent tone and the creepy as hell off-characterizations. but that said… given that its been going for a little bit too long to change any of that - all that would be accomplished by the author reading my opinion is that i might make them feel bad.
 
And i dont want to upset them. Im critical of their work, not them. Theyre probably quite a nice person. I mean, as misguided as they are they do support the best ship in the series. And weirdly ive seen plenty of their non-twixie genies stuff, even Twixie stuff, which is completely lacking in rapist-Twilight or creepy submissive homemaker Trixie.
 
I just stumbled upon this and commented as a half-unthinking reflex reaction, not expecting anyone to actually pay attention.

Well, you picked a hell of a way to express your opinion; the ONLY PLACE where the artist isn’t likely to see your opinion, and if they miraculously DID, they’d just see you as a generic “background pony”.
 
I mean, I GET “freedom of speech”, but really?

I really cannot stand TwixieGenies.
 
Twilight acts like a complete and total rapist, literally all the time, and Trixie’s personality brushes up closer to Twilight’s canon one more often than not.
