I know what they are meaning when they say “Special Pony” as opposed to “‘Special’ Pony”, but yea, a small accidental implication there.

Yeah, that’s not offensive at all. Also, offical or not, Derpy is her canon name. Just because Apple had Hasbro recall the episode doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
This. If having one name would cause problems, give her all the names.
I do want to see more of him, but even I wouldn’t be behind him becoming a new mane character. Made side/recurring one, like Mac or Cheerilee, but probably not mane 6.

And her other card so far is “Equestrian Mailmare.” I’m kinda hoping every Derpy card gets a different name, just to poke fun at this whole mess.
Special Pony, Muffin, and I could swear that I remember the crew calling her Stoneface.
She’s acquiring quite the list of names.
You know, the longer they do the “Pony Who Shall Not Be Named” with Derpy, the funnier it becomes.

Kinda sounds like a pony version of Maximum Carnage to me.
