Actually I’ve been warming to TwiSun a lot since Rainbow Rocks came out, it’s now my favourite and cutest G4 pony ship. :3

I think Twilight winds up shipped with another member of the Mane Six (or Spike) in people’s heads before they even realize this pairing is possible, and the prevalence of Cheerimac probably doesn’t help either.
That makes sense; learning and knowledge are obviously important to them and they could read lots and lots of books together! I’m surprised more people don’t ship them.
