Description

There are already posts about this, but I felt I had to make this.  
 
Robin Williams was not only a comedy legend, but a personal hero of mine; and the news of his untimely death has left me feeling numb and on the verge of tears.
 
Depression is no laughing matter, and the fact that it could even affect someone with such zany, manic exuberance like Mr. Williams is absolutely tragic.
 
Rest well, Rob…we ain’t ever gonna have a friend like you again. :(

I see dead ponies...
shortly after he died, his widow and their doctor revealed what really drove him to suicide. He was coming down with rapidly advancing cases of Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. He had been given only three more years before he was pretty much a vegetable.

That’s the tragic part of all of this: it’s impossible to see suicidal tendencies until it’s too late to help. They always said that the saddest people laugh the most, and this year seems to be proving that point.
