I learned about the Giovanni theory couple years back and I thought it had to do with the live show.
I still don’t get why they still haven’t revealed ash’s dad yet.Was he supposed to be revealed before or are they planning to reveal him later?Then again I think I’m asking too much from something like the Pokemon anime,esp. at this point.

Well you think that the idea of Giovanni being Ash’s dad started from Pokemon Live, so it;s clear you don;t really no a lot about the fan theories as the one of Giovanni was around a little before the first move was out in the US.
Never heard of that one.
And another one people think may be his dad with nothing to support it is Silver.
No, before Pokemon Live that was an idea some fans had.
That actually comes from that Pokemon Live thing from the 90’s(which really shouldn’t be considered cannon or a good source of proof of who Ash’s missing dad is{by the way,why the hell have they never explain what happened to Ash’s dad?]and should be taken with a grain of salt.).
Dude, people think his dad is Giovanni based on nothing, anyone will clam a relationship anywhere they see anything.
So, if we saw an older woman in the game or show that had the a hairstyle that matched Ash’s mom, wouldn’t most people assume that woman might be related to Ash?

By that logic she is related to Iris for being a dragon trainer raised in an area where the mythology of dragon pokemon is important.
There isn’t any beside Drasna’s hair style is similar to Dawn’s mother. :U
