If you bothered to even look at info about Dashcon, you’d know that it isn’t a pony convention at all.
Also anyone remotely famous there packed up and left when the organizers couldn’t even pay them.

Basically, a con fucked everything up and tried to appease people who came to see celebrities with an extra hour in a ball pit that was a kiddie pool.
