You don’t!
One thing you can say is canon would be Fleet foot crushing on Macintosh. Check her card, “secret sweetheart”
Huh, I haven’t read that far into the series, but that’s interesting. Though, I kinda prefer the idea, ponies just invented random things.
@Evowizard25
It’s funny that you note Equestria’s inconsistent technology level and the comics in the same posts, because in the most recent arc, a flashback sequence shows that Celestia and Starswirl traveled to alternate dimensions using mirrors like the one in Equestria Girls, and brought back a lot of technology, which is kind of a neat explanation for how patchwork everything is, since they’re learning things “out of order” and without full understanding of the scientific principles of how they work.
Far as comics were concerned, the writers suggest that you can consider some parts canon or not. I find some stories have great build up but little payoff but generally they’re fine. Need to read more someday, I collect more than reading to get the ri covers from the local store that the staff tell me they’re cutting down orders of the comic so early birds must be more prepared than usual.
I may suggest for those saving money could go and buy the paperback book collections as those may be better value in the long run, wish I thought of that sooner.
The only reason I haven’t gotten into the comics…is because I’m saving my money.
Yeah, I just write it off that way to. Sadly, I haven’t gotten to read recent issues, but I’ll catch up to them eventually.
Yeah, it’s nice to meet someone who likes them too.
I chock the varying levels of tech to magic. Quite a few spells can do what tech usually does, so they aren’t made and scientist ponies focus on other areas.
I guess some can’t get over “Twilicorn,” but thankfully it’s not as widespread anymore, as it once was.
Well, they’ve been shown to have film reels, and arcade machines, but no TVs. So overall the technology in Equestria is quite confusing. (Like when they had telephones, primitive-looking steam engines, and ceiling fans in some Legend of Zelda games.)
Well, it’s kinda nice to hear somebody who enjoys them, after getting lectured by several people on this site why they’re “bad.”
That’s a stupid reason to leave a comic. (Seriously, I’m sick of the Twilicorn hate.)
Yeah, some of the earlier ones, such as Twilight and Rainbow’s, comics were bland and forgetful, but it was still good. (Though, it seems like Equestria has news reels. I wonder if they play them in theaters like in the olden days, since we don’t see the ponies with TVs.)
I still love them and draw some inspiration from them when writing my fics.
@Evowizard25
Sadly, the comics are becoming kinda a base-breaker, and controversial in the fandom, due to things like the darker stories, the “pandering,” or references that were heavy in earlier issues, and such… (It’s a shame, ‘cause I still enjoy them. Though, some of the earlier micros like Dashie’s were a bit boring. I did like the air gremlins though.)
It’s become basically either a “love ’em,” or “hate ‘em” series with bronies. (That’s kinda how the Archie Sonic comics are with Sonic fans.)
Not to mention some bronies quit on the comic series once Twilicorn was added to the canon, to keep it consistent with the show. (I was actually more shocked that most people thought they were going to keep her a unicorn in it. I always figured they were going to eventually make her an alicorn in it to.)
Shame. Utter shame really. I’ve seen a lot in the comics that would make great material for artwork.
The comics commonly get glanced over, artwise.
I know about the comics, I’m talking more about the fandom.
Comics.
Yeah, that actually could be both humorous and heartwarming if done right.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone ever write about Sweetcream. A shame really. A lot of ponies seem to be glanced over in this fandom.
Or even if Fleetmac doesn’t take off, we should at least get more Fleetfoot The Stalker. There’s a lot of potential there.
Then again, I say the same thing about Sweetcream Scoops.
That’s why he doesn’t go out much.
Well, she’s appeared in a few scenes in some episodes and had a large speaking role in another.
Vinyl had five seconds of screen time in season 1 and she had tons of stuff going for her. I think it’s time to give Fleetfoot just a little more attention.
We hardly know anything about Fleetfoot as well.
