Season 4 was a one big torpedo for Discopie ship, most of the crew took lifeboats to ships like Dislestia, Fluttercord and CheesePie

The fact that the ship keeps struggling and surviving to this day is a feat…if this two fine ladies resist until Season 5, I am sure the next season will provide the long awaited Pinkie Pie-Discord episode…of course, being MLP, romance will be null or at best very very subtle, but interaction no matter how platonic between those two will be enough reignite this ship…particularly if alternate ship teases for the two are kept at a minimun (something that sure as hell didn’t happened in season 4)
 
Still, one would think sites like Fimfiction have unspoken rules against Discopie fics for some reason…Sombrapie of all ships have more fanfiction for Christ sake.

Where is the true Discopie spirit of happiness and crazyiness? Discord would be able to throw a party with half the people in that pic, and Pinkie Pie wouldn’t even need that.

(I have an upcoming scene in a story where they sleep together. No, literally, sleep, like Pinkie decides she really needs a giant draconequupillow to get comfy. Still can’t really picture them having sex, aside from maybe the kind that’s a friendship benefit, but I can totally see them as becoming best buds…)

In my usual headcanon, they’re mother and son, so that kind of precludes shipping.

I never really cared for the ship myself. I prefer seeing them as an uncle/niece kind of relationship. (It really hasn’t happened in the show, which is sad. I thought Pinkie would be the second one to really warm up and befriend Discord. She even tried one episode, but that wasn’t so.)

Yeah my fellow Rarijack shippers do have a tendency to go crips and bloods with Spraity. It’s like back in season 2 with Cheerimac VS Fluttermac.
