Straight-up, unless Jon does an extended Guest Grumps, Sonic ‘06 is never going to happen. Even ignoring any possible bad blood that might be there, it’s just not going to happen.

It would require too much planning, especially now that they no longer “basically” live together. They have too much of the game left to complete and they’re both doing different things. Just won’t happen. At all.
 
The argument over them mending broken bridges, however, is still very much left open. My idea on it is thus:
 
They’ve spent too much time together, had too much fun together, and compliment each other so well that I can’t imagine them “hating” each other forever. I might already be of the opinion that they’re not really that upset with each other, but still, even if they were they’ve still had too much happen as a team and as friends that I can’t imagine this “rift” really growing between them. Arin and Danny even finally mentioned Jon on the show, after all, and with Arin going on the joking offensive by saying that only he can mention Jon.
 
It was pretty silly, but also endearing.
 
A Guest Grumps with Jon; I see as a legitimate possibility, even if not soon.
 
Sonic ‘06 though? Give up hope. Danny even said that it would be wrong for him to try and complete it with Arin as Jon’s substitute. It’s just not going to happen, with or without Jon.

and while i understand its a business you just cant lie to the fans about a major part of the show jon meant a lot to people and for arin to lie and act like nothing happen made him look like an asshole [witch he is]  
but my point is they make money off the views they get they are nothing with out the fans i dont think people are asking for a fullback stage pass to there lifes but the fans do deserve the truth as they make money off us. then maybe once it all comes to light we can all move on.

This is one of those things where, honesty I’d like em back together as a group. If not making a whole series together just going back to doing a game grumps once in a while. Just for fun.
 
This is a business of theirs though. An income. If they can’t work together anymore for what ever reason, personal, business or other then that’s fine. They don’t need their full lives out in public.

depends on how bad the fall out was.  
keep in mind we are not talking about a beef between 2 friends in private.  
we are talking about a dio that has there lifes pretty much in the public any thing big like a fall out with no explanation and then gets covered up with lies has lasting impacts with the fans and in there personal lifes so its vary hard to get over something that fucks up your career witch is your lively hood and impacts they way people look and see you and can burn any future ties in the industry.  
its not that easy in short.

the reason for there break up even to this day is still vary shady  
all we know is something went down and arin lied right to his fans for a long time he didn’t even want to aknowledge jon on the show or at events every time someone at a con would ask something about jon arin would just go quite and he got vary awkward and jons been dropping little hints here and there like he wants to say something but arin has a NDA on him.  
while once again jon saw it as just friends playing games arin saw profit witch is why he would get on jons ass a lot but jon was having fun with hes friend even if it was a bad game like sonic 06 that dont matter as long as you are playing it with a good buddy.  
its just a matter of people change the moment you bring any business in to anything you start treating friends less like friends and more like employs witch is the case with grumps.  
yet they have tons of mindless fans willing to kiss there ass and are ok with being lied to.

Honestly, I’ve never heard of the reasoning for the breakup. I always figured John just wanted to go do something else other then game all the time.
 
And the idea of dealing with it as a business that’s kinda a harsh thing but you have to have some business sense if your going to try to make money off this lifestyle. I don’t support either side I’m just saying if this was just guys doing this to have fun, they may just have kept on playing games or eventually stopped recording.
 
Sides, many of the games they play you can tell just feel like torture to them. My god… Sonic 06. …

i will say i think they did rekindle there friendship a bit at magfest  
but it will take a lot more then that to get over all the betrayal and lieing keep in mind jon was never meant to leave game grumps it was going to be jon and arin then steam train was going to be danny and ross but then something went down and instead of telling the truth arin went on the subreddet and lied about jon not wanting any involvement with grumps witch was a lie. arin treated it like a business jon treated it as friends playing games together.
