Rarity: it’s warm
Applejack: where’s your other hoof
Rarity: it’s between two pillows
Applejack: those aren’t TWO PILLOWS!!
Actually, Faust doesn’t have anything against lesbians, and is quite liberal. What I meant was Faust didn’t want the Mane 6 to have say “boyfriends” either, or any romance apparently. A li’l flirting like say with Rarity & Blueblood, and such was pretty much all she, and the rest of the staff was going to allow.

Well, to each their own, but to me it doesn’t really add anything to the series for me.
I’m probably confusing Gen X and Y with kids of all eras, but whatever. :3
Even if they did ever canonize mane 6 shipping on the show I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t become anything like a “romance novel”. The tone of the show and the format are completely different and it would likely be a side element like Scootaloo idolizing Dash, Spike crushing on Rarity etc.
And there’s always going to be drama in this fandom dude, shipping or not. People will find things to get worked up over no matter what.
I guess I just don’t want MLP to become some kinda “romance novel,” which is also something Faust didn’t want for the show anyways. (As much as I hate to sound like Lauren Faust-worshipper.)
A li’l romance is fine, but that’s not what the show should focus on.
Plus even if 2 characters do end up together, ‘shippers who prefer one, or the other with a different character will get mad, and just lead to drama.
I remember this crazy teenage girl on DA started drawing a bunch of “hate” art of Cheerilee shortly before the ep’ “Hearts & Hooves Day” aired, because after reading the brief description of the ep’, she became afraid it was going to make the “CheerileeXBig Mac” pairing canon, and therefore sink her “FluttershyXBig Mac” pairing.
(Ironically, that’s not even what happens in the ep’, so she overreacted over nothing.)
B-baka…
But seriously, I don’t think there actually is much “tsundere” about the above cover, I think Applejack really is exasperated with Rarity there and sometimes mutually in the show too, but they’ve still gotten to be closer friends with each other over time in spite of it which is a powerful driving force behind the pairing (in shipping and non-shipping sense). So either way its cute.
In regards to shipping though, I’m not saying you’re wrong and obviously you’re entitled to your own opinion, but a lot of people throw around the it’s “friendship is magic” so a romantic relationship would ruin it statement often (I’ve seen you say it many times) and personally I don’t really see why this would have to be or why that kind of change would have to be a bad thing, if the show and society allowed. To me it’s implying that people can’t be in a romantic or sexual relationship without being close friends for one, and also that friendships can’t and sometimes do grow into more (those seem to be the most successful relationships honestly) for another, both of which I think are bad assumptions to make, and untrue. While I’m not saying intra mane 6 kissing belongs out in front on the show, implying that one or more of the characters could develop stronger feelings for each other wouldn’t have to ruin anything, and probably wouldn’t even change as much of the show and dynamic as Twilight becoming a princess and getting her own castle etc.
I don’t know, nothing against the ‘shippers, but I just feel that the characters getting in romantic relationships with each other (even if lesbianism was allowed) would kinda ruin the whole “friendship” aspect between the “mane 6.” (It’s called “Friendship is magic,” not “Friends with Benefits is Magic.”) ;)
I just feel the “Mane 6” are better off being “just friends” with each other, but everyone has their own preferences, and opinions.

Oh, I know about that. :P “It’s not like I LIKE you or anything…”
You aren’t familiar with the concept of tsundere, are you?
And to each their own.
Official carpe will not include lesbianism for some time. Not until America is ready… Eurasia is mostly ready, but again the franchise is based in America. :T
Looks more like they aren’t getting along on it. :P (Well, AJ at least.)
I prefer them as platonic friends who get on each others’ nerves. (Same goes for DJ & Octavia.) Guess I’m just not into ’shipping much, no offense.
Even though the comic probably does not involve Rarijack shipping, I still enjoy this cover for being Rarijack’ish to me!
Okay.
I see. We will have to see.
Yeah, I think you’re right. Sorry.
Nah. It’s the opposite of the usual
In other words: No real change.
Well they also have the fact that ambition and image are very important to them, even if those images and ambitions are very different
Oh yeah, I remember that part now. “The country one, and the fussy one are indeed an odd pairing!” Chrysalis apparently likes their antics to.
During the first comic storyline, the cast got split into groups of two. Rarity and Applejack ended up together doing, as usual, an Odd Couple routine, with a bit of commentary by Chrysalis.
Pretty sure it’s meant to be the Starbucks logo
If they skipped g3, perhaps they’d decided to skip g4 as well.
Though, doing so is a considerable waste of potential.
