They’re still really fun reads, actually. I highly recommend them. I mean, it’s not exactly Shakespeare or Michael Crichton, but they’re fun, entertaining reads, a lot like the show itself - go figure :p

Not sure exactly what you mean by that. I don’t actually recall the Lost Treasure of Griffinstone in the books :q
WIth Lost Treasure of Griffinstone, we could assume this even could be referenced. Because, you know; endings.
Unless Octavia often wields an enormous spear with a flowing cape behind her; I don’t think those are Octavias.
Also, spoilers: In the book ||it says she saw a statue that looked exactly like Doctor Caballeron, and it’s the last book, and he never appeared, and earlier in the book it was established that he was looking for the city of clouds, and Brumby only ominously said there was some severe punishment for him (an outsider) showing up again… Anyone else get the impression that Doc Caballeron got turned into stone??? O.o ||

I meant the regular books by Berrow, starting with Crystal Heart Spell. Unfortunately for you, they’re really short, at least I assume others would think so. I don’t read for pleasure. :T

Not Octavia, they’re copies of a statue that was in the Canterlot gardens back in Return of Harmony part 1.
Also, holy frick, are the ponies in the cloud layer more statues or living cloud ponies, or maybe even ghost ponies?! (probably not gonna be that last one though lol)
I’ve read them all, and I can honestly say… I wouldn’t know what grade level I’m reading because I don’t give a shit. >:D

Oh well, considering this aren’t fictional stories (in universe) I guess he managed to be a believable threat somehow. :V
